Modera - A Story To Be Told

American producer duo Modera have quickly established themselves as household names not just on Colorize but in the world of melodic house, and their latest EP is evidence of their rapid growth as artists. Standing out immediately as you tune into their new seven-track EP 'A Story To Be Told' is their crisp and pristine production; acoustic and electronic elements blend together with a graceful ease, and they inject a distinct liveliness into every instrument. Delicate synth plucks, engrossing piano parts, throbbing bass and precision-crafted drums make up a sonic collage that is engrossing. This is alongside the songwriting from the pairing which shines bright, making the full seven-track listening experience a true delight. The duo are joined by a range of collaborators who also flex their unique talents, including producer Andrew Burrow who joins them for three of the EP's tracks, as well as vocalists JT Roach, Josefina, Susie Ledge, Kazmyn, LeyeT and Liu Bei.
